Schedule below modified to new site (when we have it!)
Still, here is a good idea of the fun coming at Camp!
Pamalu is 5 miles back into the Pupukea hills. To reach it,
you’ll be given the combination to the iron gate when you register.
Set-up or Move into your tent(s)
Bring your own tent or ask about Pamalu’s tents (accomodates small groups/ families for an added fee).
Ask for details. Now take a walk & chat with your neighbors.
6-7pm Dinner (Meal 1)
7-8pm OPENING CEREMONY
This ‘Ceremony’ is based on a traditional Polynesian greeting rite where ‘visitors’ are accepted onto the land by their local ‘hosts’. Both groups and individuals speak, so we all do hear from each other, and we begin as a community. It has proved to be a very wonderful and meaningful beginning.
This is an appropriate (and fun) way to meet and hear from the Storytellers who will be leading the workshops on Saturday & Sunday. Oh, they have stories!
JAY MENES (PHILIPPINES), ANNE GLOVER (CANADA),
ANNE SHIMOJIMA (CHICAGO),
LINDA YEMOTO (SAN FRANCISCO)
KILOHAHA SILVE, SHAIN MILLER,
VICKY DWORKIN, JEFF GERE
This is a totally unstructured give and take (unless somebody comes with another idea) group sharing…and Shain Miller loves to build fires!
WHY WAIT? REGISTER NOW FOR CAMP!
