Sunday, July 21
Schedule below modified to new site (when we have it!) Still, here is a good idea of the fun coming at Camp!
7-8:30 JOKER’S BREAKFAST
It spontaneously started last year. Nobody does what is ‘scheduled’ early Sunday anyway, so we started telling jokes. Bring a riddle, a joke, or a funny anecdote with your appetite… we have good coffee too.
9-10:30am
STORYTELLING NEAR & FAR
A lively sharing & reporting of traditions & contemporary storytelling practices & events from the diverse homes of our featured storytellers, with lots of give & take, questions & discussions. Learn ‘what’s happening’ and ‘what’s hot for you’ in storytelling in Japan, Philippines, Canada, San Francisco, Chicago, and yes, Hawaii.
KID PUPPETS & TALES with Vicky Dworkin
Vicky, puppets & tales visit from Honolulu’s Main Library in this ‘active listening’ kid session.
11-12:30 LUNCH
There’ll likely be less people Sunday, so one canoe trip will do. Depending on the group, perhaps we’ll have an Open Mic Story Session too during Lunch after.
1:30- 2:30pm CLOSiNG CEREMONY
We end as we began (roughly) with each having a chance to speak, as locals send visitors off with Aloha, and we dissolve the Camp.
3-4:30pm WIALUA HALEIWA EXCURSION

Stay if you wish into the evening & campfire,
but officially Camp is over.
